Minimum Specification

Minimum systems requirement for Quadstone Paramics V6.x are:

• 2GHZ CPU
• 1GB RAM
• 128MB+ OpenGL Graphics Card
• Windows XP 32bit/64bit or Windows Vista 32bit/64bit
• 1 x USB2 port or Parallel Port

Minimum systems requirement for UAF are:

• 3GHZ CPU
• 2GB RAM
• 128MB+ OpenGL Graphics Card
• Windows XP 32bit/64bit or Windows Vista 32bit/64bit
• 1 x USB2 port or Parallel Port

Improving Performance

When deciding on higher performance systems specs we advise choosing more RAM or a higher CPU speed over faster or larger hard disk drives. Multiple CPU systems cannot be exclusively utilised by the Paramics software due to the sequential nature of timestep based microscopic simulation modeling, however multiple CPU's will allow more systems resources to be provided to the Paramics software.

Optional Platform Support

X64 ports of the Paramics applications or UI interface ports for platforms such as Mac OS or Linux can be provided depending on user demand, please contact us to discuss your requirements.
