EMBARQ Sustainable Transport Chooses Paramics

The EMBARQ Centre for Sustainable Transport, in association with the World Resources Institute identifies Quadstone Paramics as a vital component of it's analysis and impact assessment strategy of bus systems, traffic patterns and road safety in Latin America and Asia.

EMBARQ's mission is to catalyze and help implement environmentally and financially sustainable transport solutions to improve quality of life in cities. Since 2002, the network has grown to include five Centers for Sustainable Transport, located in Mexico, Brazil, India, Turkey and the Andean Region, that work together with local transport authorities to reduce pollution, improve public health, and create safe, accessible and attractive urban public spaces.

Autodesk Strategic Alliance Agreement

I am pleased to announce that Paramics parent company Pitney Bowes Software and Autodesk have entered into a global strategic alliance agreement to provide most comprehensive end-to-end infrastructure solutions available combining the power of GIS, simulation, analytics, BIM and asset management. A wide range of Pitney Bowes Software products inc. Paramics, Confirm (transportation asset management) and MapInfo GIS will work closely with Autodesk's BIM for infrastructure solutions, including the Autodesk Infrastructure Design Suite to provide seamless workflows and added value functionality for a wide range of planning, engineering and transportation professionals.

Industry practitioners will be able to take advantage of unique solutions which will shorten the modeling and construction phases within projects, help organizations to determine optimum location and environmental impact of design scenarios and optimize asset maintenance management so that infrastructure monies can be maximized across the entire asset lifecycle.

Autodesk 3ds Max Integration

Quadstone Paramics are pleased to announce that the Paramics and UAF product lines now integrate seamlessly with Autodesk's Civil View for 3ds Max Design products to create life like renderings for transport infrastructure including accurate traffic flow animation.

This new connectivity allows engineers to import accurate traffic flow data from the Paramics traffic and pedestrian simulation into 3ds Max for enhanced presentation capabilities.
